2023 Student Event Information

Who Should Attend?

Any college student considering the idea of graduate school, those unsure of programs to apply to, and who know exactly what type of program they are interested in.

Why Should You Attend?

Meet representatives from graduate and professional schools from all over the U.S. to learn about the programs offered, the requirements to attend, and the process of applying.

Just think...there are so many programs out there that you have never heard of or thought about that may be just the right program for you!

How Should I Prepare Myself?

Make a great first impression and look the part (TOP TO BOTTOM) to show how serious you are. This is important for career/graduate school fairs!

    • Skirts should fall below the knees when standing and cover thighs when seated

    • Dress shirts typically have pointed rather than button-down collars

Accessories:

Follow Up

Use the contact information collected at the event.  Ask for assistance in connecting to additional people on campus who might help you such as the departmental advisor. Find out if there will be on-campus visitation days or virtual information sessions.  Are these open or by invitation?  Do they assist with the cost of travel? Find out if there are summer research programs on campus that will allow you an in-depth experience prior to applying.
